Sorry, but Anjuta is not active enough to support you for this program. 
You should try another project.

I think you need to contact the project by sending a message on the 
mailing list like you have done it here and you should get more details. 
Typically you need to write one or two fixes for simple bugs.

You can still contribute to Anjuta by reporting bugs or even better 
fixing the one already reported but the project is not very active.
