[anjuta-devel] GSOC Anjuta Idea

Hello,

I'm very interested in participating with Anjuta for the summer of code. I know I need to get some contribution in before I will be considered for the project, so I'm trying to gather a list of fairly simple bugs from the tracker.

Are there any other suggestions? I'm brand new to the Anjuta code base, so I'd love to find something to help me get familiar.

As far as my GSOC idea, on the roadmap page, I saw towards the bottom the idea about prociding vim/emacs style keyboard bindings. I'm somewhat interested in this since I've recently started using emacs and I love the productivity increase using nothing but the keyboard. I'd love to bring something similar to Anjuta. Would it be appropriate to add an optional emacs emulation mode or would it be better to create Anjuta specific shortcuts (that are always available) that mesh with the existing shortcuts?
