I guess I'm not exactly qualified to answer this, but I'll take a stab
at it.

In Firefox, there are two types of text boxes. The text area is a text
box that allows you to type whatever you lie, similar to a text editor.
The text area allows for multiple lines to be input, so you are allowed
to press the enter key inside of the text area to start a new line of
text without automatically submitting the form. On the other hand, an
entry is a small text box that usually allows only one line of text at
the most. This means that pressing the enter key inside of the entry
text box will usually submit the form. It is important to make a
distinction here, because you wouldn't want to think that you can press
enter EG to start a new paragraph only to have your form submitted
before you have finished typing. Hope this helps.
