Re: [orca-list] Shutting Down from Gnome Shell?

Hi,

Joanmarie were looking for this problem, and I found something
increasing the CPU consumption when the logout dialog is open. I have
opened a bug:

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=674210

And added a tentative patch that solves this for me.

Today is GNOME 3.4.1, so not sure if we would have time to have this
included on this release. Anyway, I hope that this could help someone.

One place where this happen is when I try to logout.
After I chose logout in the menu orca stays mute for a while.
Eventually I hear logout push button, but if I press orcaKey+enter,
orca does not read again.
Thanks.

Hey José.

I found the power off option, press the enter key but nothing happened
immediately.

For me the result is instant. But the other day I was seeing a delay in
presenting an item due to our examining things we really don't care
about. And I already fixed that in master and gnome-3-4. Perhaps
that is
what you are seeing.

Okay, I am occasionally seeing a delay in our getting the focus event
from gnome-shell for that dialog. I'll see if I can get a reproducible
test case and then talk to Piñeiro about it.
