NM periodically thinks ethernet network is unreachable

Dear networkmanager-list,

on a desktop machine of mine that is running 24/7, NetworkManager periodically (after a few days) thinks that the network would be unreachable and looses Internet connectivity. The respective (and only) connection is a simple Ethernet connection.

Restarting NetworkManager will directly restore the connectivity.

After several hours connectivity will also be restored. The timing seems to be related to DHCP expiry. According to the logs of my network administrator no requests reached the server between the loss of the connectivity and the final restoring.

I am attaching the log.

Do you have some idea how to debug/solve this behavior? I am currently using version 1.2.6, as that is the one shipped by my distro (Ubuntu based).

Thank you for your help.

Best regards
Leonard Lausen
