A low volume, moderated list is for discussion about Metacity development. A few rules to keep this low volume: * Bugzilla should be used in preference to this list where it makes sense * If you aren't willing to fix the issue you are emailing about, your email is likely to be rejected (i.e. this list isn't for whining about unfixed bugs) * Email approval is further subject to Elijah's whim ;-) * Exceptions to the rules may be made for past or current contributors or gtk hackers. However, just because you see rules being bent for others doesn't mean that they'll be bent for you. In other words, we're kind of paranoid right now about the list getting out of control. But, if you play nicely, there's no need to fear Elijah's wrath. You may, however, need to be patient waiting for list moderation. Using metacity-devel-list
To post a message to all the list members, send email to metacity-devel-list@gnome.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to metacity-devel-list
Subscribe to metacity-devel-list by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
