Re: Mc Digest, Vol 70, Issue 1

This is getting completely out of hand:
some people don't like the colours,
one was complaining about `ls` showing 1000 or 1024 format,
....

All these trivialities will kill mc.
It's called death by entropy.

Did any body else's gmail get screwed by the Chinese - or something ?
An analysts wrote that the Nigerian with explosives in his underpants was not
SUPOSED to explode. The chaos which it's caused to the US has already
done it's damage.

This new round of mc chaos is like what the 2K-bug was predicted to be.

When people die of 'old age' it's nothing specific; just entropy.

Rashid, thanks for you idea!
I've created branch for this issue:

Why? Which relation has dialog to menubar?

It's historical heritage. :) Personally me (and some other people) don't
like the always visible menu, therefore I didn't care about it colors.

Pesonally me is on the contrary - since ...mmmm.... since 1992 I have used
any
commander with always visible upper menu.

Also atoher question about coloring - how to change color of "current" line
in
history and hotdir dialogues. In 4.6.2 it was green on blue. Now it's red on
blue, that's don't like me.

There are no special skin items for that. It is not implemented yet.

Menu dialogs (user menu, charset selection, etc) use menu colors.
I believe it is quite logically.

Histories use standard dialog colors. "Red on blue" are colors
redefined by you. By deafult they are blue on cyan.
