I just read the release notes and that is why I came back to this
list, in order to learn more about that.

I have the same question but I don't find the answer.  Can anyone
tell me what is the status of themes in Windows?  How do major apps such
as Wireshark deal with this?  What is the future for gtk themes
on Windows?

Right now I am still using Gtk 2.16 with Windows and am having
some success but only on the PC where the app is compiled and
not on any other PC.
