I'm trying to do what the command

$ setxkbmap -layout (for example, de...)

do (in a graphical console), but "a la GTK+", graphically, without
going to launch a graphical console.

Similarly to gnome-keyboard-properties when the user can select the
"desired" keyboard(s).

Could you help me ?
