Gnumeric and Java ... use for GUI frontend...

Hello there,

I was wondering if anybody has ever tried to create a Java
desktop application that makes use of Gnumeric spreadsheet
as a GUI front-end.
I would like to make a Java-desktop database app and use
Gnumeric embedded as a GUI front end for data entry.
The Java gui system I use is Java Swing.

Does anybody know how to embedd Gnumeric as a Java Swing component.
