i've uploaded a sanitized version of the spreadsheet that's giving me problems to this bug: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=515120

if you spot some personal data in it, i'd be interested in hearing about it.

my opinion, after a few tests, is that the problem is not swapping, but either the processor speed or the design of my calculations (my skills could be deficient)

hopefully it's a gnumeric problem and i won't need to upgrade my machine or the spreadsheet   :)
