CSV is an acronym which stands for Comma Seperated Values and it is often
used as a filename extension such as "data.csv".  It is essentially a list
of values in Text format broken up by commas and it is often used for
sharing lists of information like spreadsheets.  Most spreadsheet programs
offer import and export of CSV.  Only the values in the spreadsheet cells
gets saved though, equations and spreadsheet functions are not stored.
Less often people might also talk of TSV, which is Tab Seperated values.
