this is how I guess you would do it:

c) select all
choose Format, Cells
choose the Tab 'Protection'
protect all the cells.

go back
select the cells you dont want protected, got to Format, cells, Protection
and turn off the protection for those cells.

You have not said if you have already tried to do this but failed because
if you had I might have been able to help explain where you went wrong.
I can only assume you were unable to find protect cells feature and have
given the best advice I can based on the information you provided.  I just
want to encourage you to provide as much information as possible about
what you have already tried when asking questions in future so that we can
more easily give you the answers you are looking for.
