Hi!

Ok, downloaded gal-0.8.

Configure worked without dying.

Make dies with an error that says:

Making all in tests
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/gal-0.8/tests'
.
.
.
... undefined reference to `gnome_canvas_pixbuf_get_type'

I have gdk-pixbuf-0.10.1 compiled and installed (in
/usr/local/lib).  What may the problem be?  Oh, I -do- have 
gdk_pixbufConf.sh in /usr/lib (this was pointed out as a 
possible problem with a similar error).

phew.  I seem to be cursed with this compile job.  But I want to
do it from source :)
