Hi GSoC enthusiasts,

Happy 2014! We are very excited about what this year holds for the
Google Summer of Code program and our “10 things” effort. We hope you
will be able to join us for one or more of the events we are hosting
around the world this year.

We have two events planned over the next 5 weeks, we hope to see you there!

23 January, 2014 -- Colombo, Sri Lanka (early evening) Colombo is
home to the University of Moratuwa where we have had the largest
student participation in GSoC since 2005. If you are interested in
attending this event please register by 13 January here:

Space is limited. We will send details on the exact location and
timing of the event the week before to all confirmed attendees.

1 - 2, February, 2014 -- Brussels, Belgium We are very excited to
have a table dedicated to GSoC at FOSDEM 2014 at the Université libre
de Bruxelles, Campus du Solbosch.

FOSDEM is a free event where you can mingle with 5,000+ of your
closest FOSS friends. If you would like to demo/talk about your
project in our table at FOSDEM please fill out this form. As space
permits we will assign you a 20-30 minutes time slot so you can tell
other attendees about your project and experience with GSoC, including
a demo if you’d like to. We will send you a confirmation with your
assigned time slot by 26 January.

We hope to see you at one (or both) of these events.

We will send an email out in a few weeks with our next 3 stops on our
worldwide tour for mid February and early March.

Best,

Stephanie Taylor
