With the old Gnome, I never used the extra workspaces (out of sight, out
of mind..). However, there are so many changes with the new G3 -
workspaces become a bit more attractive to cut down on the clutter and
confusion experienced in the first few days.

(I still don't have my printer working, and the SVN GUI doesn't seem to
work..)
