IMO, unless we're running 20+ data nodes, XFS isn't going to be worth
the potential headaches.

Yeah, I figured that was the case. :-) I just figured that it's not so easy to change the fs on a DB server, so if we wanted to do it ever (in the event of some massive gnome.org project requiring a lot of performance), now was the time to think about whether or not we should.
