Note that by doing this, you will lose the information of whether the
bug was NEEDINFO before you make it NEEDINFO.

Can't we have a DEPRECATED resolution, that would not be accessible for
normal bugzilla users? OBSOLETE is used with another meaning for some
other modules ("you're using an obsolete version of my module").

Don't do that. Feel free to hide them by default (it's probably still
nice to be able to access them in some way). But not delete. You're losing
information.
