What I do, is to use flat review mode to find the text I want. I then
use the / key on the number pad to click on the first character. I then
use flat review to ove to the spot after the last character of the text
I want to select. I then press Shift + / on the number pad again. This
basically uses the mouse to firstly place the terminal cursor at one
point, and then use shift and click to hilight from the cursor to the
second spot you clicked. You can then use Control + Shift + C to copy
the text to the clipboard.

May be a bit cumbersome, but it works.
