[Gimp-user] GIF help?

I was wondering if you could help me, I used to make a lot of gifs but went hiatus for a few years, now 
everything is different. When I save a gif now, it saves grainy or pixelated no matter what "mode" I put.I 
remember gifs used to could be saved and they looked clean and sharp. Now, not so much. Any way we can make 
them look clear again?
(Running windows 10, gimp 2.10.18)
