it is an unstable version with experimental python support so if you are brave and you 
want to tell us which plugins work, please let us know your comments in this bug:

For now we already know that python console and the tools plugin doesn't work and
we know why. The others need testing.

Ooooh! Sorry, but I'm quite excited at the idea of being able to run
gedit under Windows with most (?) Python plugins working.
