[gedit-list] tabs instead of spaces

One buffer had code inserted that contained tabs. Tabs were replaced with spaces

using Replace. Then I discovered that I had the Auto Tab plugin enabled. I

disabled it. But in this buffer, tabs are still inserted instead of spaces. And

I'm getting some weird highlighting when I hit tab. Other buffer are inserting

spaces. What can I do to get back to spaces instead of tabs in this buffer?
