Any objection to just moving games source files to GPLv3+? Or, to put
it another way; why keep them at GPLv2+?

I'm fine with moving them to GPLv3+ as well, but there is an advantage
to keeping them GPLv2+: it would allow GNOME programs with the older
license to copy code from us.

This doesn't matter too much, though, as that's hardly something that
will happen often.
