Re: [Evolution] generating message list problem

I hate posting inline (top posting Nazis feel my scorn!). See my

What is mutt?
blasphemy!!

I use mutt to read e-mail on servers. I am not extra-ordinary
comfortable using it. If you have used pine (please don't ask what pine
is ;-) ), you can use mutt. The key commands are simple to learn and
use.

I like Evolution like the next guy, however i find mutt has rock solid
support for the mbox mail format. It can handle inbox files that
Evolution chokes on. Using mutt to clean up Evolution mbox inbox files
has saved my bacon on several occasions.

Of course for everyday mail reading and writing, Evolution rules. When
it rains in paradise sometimes you need a mutt to chase the clouds away.
Bad analogy I know.

Best of luck,
Rob

Hey, what I can say, this heathen only worships at the altar of GUI, I
like pretty buttons and things to click on.

Seriously, though installing a new email package and learning how to use
it seem a wee bit extreme to solve this problem.

Happy in my blasphemy.
