That works just fine in modern browsers, but breaks older ones (IE6)
that don't understand "application/xhtml+xml" and try to download it
instead of displaying it. So the page becomes inaccessible to some users
(not Linux or Gnome though).
Adam sent a nice fix to be used with .htaccess - see the bottom of the
page:

That would great!
Are you sure you want to use PHP? As I understand it's a security
nightmare... I'm using some m4 magic for my own sites. You could have
something similar to what Gnome uses for internationalisation, or a
simple Content Management System (CMS).
