I for one wouldn't be so surprised. Open-source projects require a lot
of time, effort and dedication, and come a certain threshold it
becomes tiring. And you don't need too many changes in your private
life---marriage, kids, new job---to suddenly stop having the time or
the desire for a fancy hobby.
