2007-10-09  Raphael Quinet  <raphael gimp org>

	* about/index.htrw: Moved the history section and its links into
	separate pages.

	* about/prehistory.htrw: New page including copies of the original
	announcements from Peter Mattis about GIMP.

	* about/history.htrw: Rewritten this page.  For the moment, this
	is a placeholder the dates of past GIMP releases.

	* about/history.gnumeric: List of dates, according to what I could
	find in the various ChangeLogs (including the maintenance
	branches), in the mailing list archives, and in old ftp mirrors.
	Dates are still missing for several 0.99.x releases.

	* about/history.png: Lame attempt at a release timeline derived
	from the Gnumeric spreadsheet.
