GNOME hackfest

Dear All,
I am an engg student from Manipal Institute Of Technology, currently
pursuing Information and Communication Technology in sophomore. I am
an active member of Linux Users Group, Manipal and a Google Technology
Users Group, Manager for Manipal.
I was going through the hackfest page and it said there will be lots
of testing and it was described as "Private Hackfest: GNOME marketing,
documentation, release teams and developers" , So I felt I could learn
more on these grounds which are required in day to day work. I am a
great believer of Foss and felt this 7-day hackfest and conference
will not only help me in learning on how to  contribute but also in
various small bits and issues related to it. Last year I attended a
Mozilla DevDay and it was simply amazing. As a result I am believing
it to be on similar grounds. Also I believe I will surely play a good
role , (if allowed to) in GNOME Asia community and spread the word
about it.
