Please find below the meeting notes prepared by Ernest for your
reference:
1. Weekly review
* Status of budget / sponsorship.
* [Info] we secured Trend and Canonical last week.
received google's logo. working on Yahoo, a
local education center, deviceVM.
* [Info] the number is now confirmed 824,000 NTD
(~26k USD), received 500,000 NTD (~16k USD).
* [Info] GASC is still following tightly with
oracle and a few other potential sponsors,
hopefully GASC can secure USD 5-8K as soon as
possible
* [Info] next week is the deadline of CFP. which
would be also deadline of CFS (if sponsors want
to have tech talk)
* [Budget] the budget reminds the same, but we
have a problem on number of chairs and desks for
bof and lunch. team is checking the price.
* [AI] Rex send updated sponsors list to GASC
* Status of CfP / program
* [Info] the total of submission is 37: 7 / 20 is
for GNOME, 30 / 36 for COSCUP (one lightning
talk)
* [AI] PockeyLam and terral register accounts
on http://registrano.com/, and COSCUP team could
enable their account to see the last data.

* Status of website
* [Info] http://2010.gnome.asia and www.gnome.asia are actually running on the exact same code base.
from the GAS side we updated the website with
significant changes. just in the database we
chose a different template for that page.
* [AI] COSCUP team would add VISA Info and Hotel
pages on the web site. (it's now available
on http://wiki.coscup.org/visainfo, need to have
it uploaded to the web.)
2. Marketing
* Status of Marketing
* [AI] Pockey confirm that if we can list Brian
Cameron as a potential speaker from GNOME
Foundation for GNOME3 on eDM. ("GNOME Board
director of GNOME Foundation, Brian Cameron will
introduce the latest GNOME 3 technology(to be
confirm)" )
3. Other Topics
* VISA to Taiwan
* [AI] GASC can have a list of these people who
need a invitation document from Taipei.
