[Anjuta-announce] [Announce] Anjuta 1.2.0 - Alpha

Hi all,

Here is again the update on porting.

Anjuta is fully usable now. Only the followings have been disabled for
now:

1) Manuals -- someone needs to convert it to *.xml help files. Should
not be a tough job converting the *.sgml file to *.xml files.

2) Printing -- I am not quite sure whether we should use
libgnomeprint-2.2 or use libgnomeprint-2.0 (and later change to 2.2).
RedHat-8.0 comes with 2.0 version and considering the fact that many
people don't even have their RH updated to 8.0, it looks like an added
dependency. Please give some opinions on this.

3) Terminal -- A very strange bug. The window would resize to an
unthinkable size when the terminal tab is activated. Needs
investigation.

Apart from these and some possible bugs, the rest are working quite
fine. Please find the alpha release at:

Warning: After using this version and trying to set preferences in
previous version of anjuta will crash the previous version. I think it's
probably because of the pango font description being used in the newer
version. So, don't forget to backup your ~/.anjuta/session.properties
before you execute anjuta-1.2.0

Looking forward for bug reports.
