Sorry for the delay, I was in holidays. Anjuta is mainly written in C, 
so you can work in C. Typically, a good way to start is to look at the 
bug reported here:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/buglist.cgi?query=product%3Aanjuta+

Find one that doesn't look too difficult and try to fix it. If you have 
any questions, you can ask them here, and expect a faster reply now.
