In fact, it's not necessary to do it if the new widget derive from another known one which is the case here. So I have already pushed my changes without changing this. Anyway, do you think it's an useful change? If we implement more complex widget in a plugin it would be useful.
I wouldn't bother to much about it at the moment if it works. If we need it later we can still do it. Regards, Johannes
