I managed to get rid of libxml v1 in Fedora only now, 5 years later.
I'm not sure this exercise will bring anything positive, people will just
continue to use libxml2 rather than fixing the couple of problems in their
apps. I will just have double burden as a maintainer upstream and at the
distro level.
