[xml] zlib compress memory buffer

Hi all,

I need a compressed memory buffer of my XML document. It seems that 
xmlSetDocCompressMode() seems not to affect a call to xmlDocDumpMemoryEnc().

Is there a way to get a compressed memory buffer of the XML document?

Any hints are highly welcome.
