OK, I think there was a bug in xml attributes processing and
I believe I fixed it.

Checking in c14n.c;
/cvs/gnome/gnome-xml/c14n.c,v  <--  c14n.c
new revision: 1.25; previous revision: 1.24
done

I've also added "--exc-c14n" command line option to xmlling
command line application to produce exclusive c14n output
from a given file (hope Daniel would not mind :) ).
