[Vala] Vala completion support for vim

Does anyone have some advice on how the Valencia/Anjuta vala completion
works? I would like to work on creating a vim omnicompletion plugin for
vala, and would like a little advice on how to get started in the right
direction. I know how to use vim well enough, but I don't know how
Valencia/Anjuta locate completion information.

Any advice?
