Yeah, but for that I'd need the path where dbus service files are
installed... Digging around I hva not been able to device a runtime way of
doing this.

I think this was discussed earlier on the list; I can get the services dir with
pkg-config --variable=session_bus_services_dir dbus-1
but apparently it didn't work for other people (I'm running latest Ubuntu Edgy)
