Rhythmbox does this too, except for when the main Rhythmbox window is
visible (since it's redundant then).


The only issue is the logic that determines whether the window is
"visible. Obviously if it's the focused window it's visible (well,
excluding traditional X focus), and if it's minimised or on another
workspace it's not visible.

What to do when the window is not minimised and on the current
workspace, but not the top window. For people who use non-maximised
windows (especially "small mode) or have multiple screens, it would be
best if it was considered visible, but for people who always have their
windows maximised it would be better to consider it invisible.

There has been debate over this in the past, and currently Rhythmbox
considers the window to be visible even if it's not the top window.
