I think that was one of the original plans. What sucks is that canola is
proprietary. What's good is that the fixes go into both.

Less code for us to maintain, one place to get bug fixes. Just need to
nag Banshee/Muine to use it as well.

I think this would need to be investigated and fixed. If not all authors
have given their consent, then the code is still GPL, and so would
Canola ;)
