Dear Release Team, At this moment of our schedule, gnome-2.24 module sets as external dependency fontconfig-2.5.0, which was the first release of a development version. At the end of May 2008, our brothers-in-law (aka freedesktop) had released the new stable version, code named beautifully fontconfig-2.6.0.tar.gz. Given such honorables facts, may you consider the approval of my humble request available in our beloved bug tracker under the id #537631 (aka http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=537631) which is update the external dependency of fontconfig. The external dependency written in our book (aka http://live.gnome.org/TwoPointTwentythree/ExternalDependencies) is 2.4.1. However, jhbuild has set 2.5.0 which is an ugly version who resists to accept as configure's argument '--disable-docs'.
