Re: [orca-list] Consolidated questions about Orca

Let's see if I can answer your questions:

1. Using Ubuntu Mate 18.10, in general, but especially in Office Writer,
I'm having a heck of a time with Orca understanding the layout of the
save as/open file dialog box.
In order to accomplish the task of saving a file in a different format, once you are in the save box, you need to shift+tab to an unlabeled button. Probably three times. Press it, and then down arrow to select your format of choice.

2. Is there a keystroke with the laptop layout that I can use to
determine quickly the battery status of my system, or, at least, one I
can manually bind?? If not, Joni, would this be something you'd consider
trying to implement?
No. Probably could be done using a script though.

3. Finally, Is there a good Daisy audio player/reader that I could use,
provided that the Daisy content isn't encrypted/DRM protected?
A while ago when I looked into this, there was some kind of a Firefox plug-in. Have you tried looking up "Linux daisy player"? Did any results come up? I don't use Daisy anymore, so not sure of what present options might be, but I think the Firefox plug-in was called dorina or something like that...
Preferably something accessible with a graphical interface, not a CLI.
I'm open to a CLI, but I'd prefer that only as a last resort.

That should do it for now.

Chris.
