Re: [orca-list] Espeakup and Espeak-ng in an arch install

hi there,

not sure,
you can downgrade if it fails to work,
the espeak package will remain in your packman's cache directory.
so doing a simple sudo pacman -S espeak will revirt things.

hi there brant,
hope you are well.
replace espeak with espeak-ng,
allow it to remove espeak and install espeak-ng which is the next
version of espeak which is being developed activly.
I hope this helps!
if you have questions, doo ask!i'm running arch btw

Hi everybody,

I decided to jump ship from my Ubuntu do you to several issues with orca,
as
well as brltty.

I have my arch LINUX base system installed, as well as most of my Mate
Desktop environment, as well as orca, but now, when I am trying to
install
espeak-ng, I get an error, espeak and espeak-NG conflicts.

For all you arch users, how do I fix this?

Warm regards,
