Perhaps we could do away with the verbose vs brief verbosity settings
and just turn things on and off in the speech tab. For example, we can
already toggle "speak child position" and "progress bar updates. It
makes sense to be able to toggle table configuration announcements and
other more fine-grained verbosity options at well. If we keep brief and
verbose settings, perhaps they could preset some of these toggles. Just
a thought.
