Sorry for the late reply, I was on vacation.

What could be better, is to allow Speech Dispatcher clients to make use of speech settings from other 
clients, i.e your app speaks something, but obtains Orca's settings so things sound similar.

IMO speech from different apps should sound different, so you can recognise where it comes from, but the 
above could be a posibility.
