hi all
I've been meaning to start filing bugs against a couple of programs
for unlabeled controlls, but I'm not sure about how to file a bug. I
know how to actually file one, go to the website, fill out the form,
etc. But I'm not sure how to actually file a good bug. I'm thinking
about filing a bug against firefox for it's quite noticeable speed
difference between linux and windows, but somehow something like,
firefox is much slower on linux than windows, just doesn't seem good
enough. I don't have any actual hard numbers to back it up, although I
can reproduce it across machines. The only windows  machine I have is
my fiance's machine, which is about half as fast as this one here, and
even on that machine, firefox starts up noticeably faster than it does
in linux, and in most cases, accessibility is faster, not necessarily
better. Pages load faster, nvda responds faster, etc. I need advice on
how to point this out without whining, or seeming to. I want the bug
fixed, not marked as 'wont fix'
 I'm also planning to file a bug against wx widgets. In windows,
applications that use wx widgets are usually, but not always, more
accessible than their corresponding linux counterparts. Dolphin, for
example. 7zip file manager is, as well. On windows, the list view of
7zip is accessible, whereas in orca it's completely silent. The menus
read, though. How do I point this out? wx widget list controls are not
accessible on linux, doesn't sound right. I'd have to prove it, and
all I can do, is say what speaks and what doesn't, I can't provide
at-spi level information
