Re: [orca-list] twitter app with orca

hi
I don't use twitter myself, but isn't gwibber accessible? I remember it having lots of issues a few gnome
releases ago,
but maybe that's changed? If not, maybe there are light weight gtk twitter clients? I'm not really sure. On a
completely
off topic note, sorry, Is there no hope of getting chromium, not chrome, support in orca? I believe I asked
this before
but can't remember if I got a response. Firefox's issues have annoyed me to the point, that I want to switch
browsers.
Chromium looks to be my next one, except their screen reader, chromevox, has done something to it's
speech-dispatcher
support that makes it do some of the things that orca does with firefox, skipping bits of text, not reading
others. This
can be fixed by installing the google tts voice, but to be kind, that voice is, uh, bad. Is this at all
possible? I'd
really like orca support, so I can take all my familiar keystrokes, and bookmarks within pages.
Thanks

Hello all,

How do I convert a LibreOffice Impress document to an easier to read format
such as HTML, or read it within LibreOffice?

LibreOffice allows me to export it in various format, all designed for
presentations - HTML and even plain text aren't offered.

The default view in LibreOffice doesn't seem to give me access to the content
under Orca 3.12.1 and LibreOffice 4.2.5.

To make Impress presentations accessible, it used to be necessary to run the
Presenter Console, which is now, apparently, included in LibreOffice.
According to my Web searches, the presenter console appears if you have a
second monitor attached to the machine, which is not feasible here.

Suggestions welcome. This should have a simple answer but I haven't found it.
