Re: [orca-list] Dropbox Inaccessible!

It's not the best help, as it doesn't directly address the issues you
are having with Firefox, but if it isn't working for you, I have found
that there are some websites that work quite well using Chromium and the
ChromeVox extension, and Dropbox may be one of those sites that just
works better. This would certainly allow you to use your Linux computer
to manage the Dropbox website, rather than having to go to a whole
nother device to use it. In order to make this work, install the
Chromium package in your distro and then download
http://the-brannons.com/kgejglhpjiefppelpmljglcjbhoiplfn.json
Make a directory called extensions in either /usr/lib/chromium or
/usr/lib/chromium-browser, depending on your distro, and then copy the
json file you downloaded into the newly created extensions directory.
Once this is completed, Chromium will automatically start speaking using
speech-dispatcher as soon as you open it. You may want to change the
"ChromeVox" keybinding by pressing control-semicolon, double-tapping o,
tabbing to the ChromeVox modifier key and pressing something like
alt+shift. Once this is done, you have the best of ChromeVox in Chromium
plus Orca for everything else, including browser dialogs. It isn't the
absolute best solution for everything either, but usually, where one
browser doesn't work, the other works much better, and both options are
free, as in both price and freedom. Hope this helps.
