[orca-list] Some braille related questions and ydeas

Hy,

I get a very old, but full working good Alva Satelite 570 Pro braille 
display my friend. When I looked short Orca braille support, I found 
some interesting problems:
1. For example, with braille display Orca doesn't indicate a webpage if 
the cursor jumps a link, doesn't presenting link role type. This is 
right happening, so this function working right?
2. When focusing a dialog with an edit box, doesn't presenting role type 
(edit box role type) with braille display. For example, a check box 
presenting right check box role type, a slider presenting slider role 
type, etc. So, check boxes, radio buttons, combo boxes, sliders, 
buttons, tab lists, icon views, list views right presenting role types, 
only I see this issue now with edit box role type.
3. In Orca preferences/keybindings page doesn't possible reassigning 
braille related bindings, but I think this is right, because the display 
have hardware buttons.
Please don't angry me, because I now beginning use Orca with braille 
display, now I using both speech and braille support temporary.

My ydeas:
1. Possible extending already implemented tutorial messages feature with 
braille display output? Now, only speech sinthesizer spokening tutorial 
messages if checked the tutorial messages related check box. I don't no 
what implementation better: tutorial messages is presenting only braille 
display flash time (for example 5 or 10 second, or a configurable time 
value), or not hiding the tutorial message before the user not mobing 
the braille display? The problem we not known the user how many cells 
length braille display using, so perhaps tutorial message is not fit the 
screen, or reserve important places with braille display.
2. A sayall similar feature for braille display, to provide automatic 
reading feature without manual need scrolling large books or articles. 
For example, the user need configuration possibility how many time value 
length happening automatic line scrolling (5 seconds, 10 seconds, etc). 
This is possible implementing, or already implemented??
3. Mnemonic keys indicator, similar with speech page already have speak 
objects mnemonics feature: I don't no this function is need or not, 
because if the braille user press a cursor routing key, the proper 
widget is activated automaticaly (checked or unchecked a check box, drop 
down a combo box, selected other radio button, etc). For example, this 
function I very like, but when I clicking a combo box with cursor 
routing key, I don't no how can select another item with braille 
display. When I moving flat review with braille display and a combo box 
is drop downed, not only the combo box elements moving the cursor. This 
possibility is only my Alva satelite 570 pro braille display not 
awailable? I only two days ago begin trying using Orca with braille 
display, so sorry the possible trivial question. :-):-)
4. Position index presenting feature: I doed prewious a feature request 
this related, the link is following:

I very would like try implementing this feature, but I don't no how can 
I begin, not known detailed braille related code parts. Only need 
putting the positionInList formatting with src/orca/formatting.py file 
the braille formattings related, or need modifying with 
src/orca/braille_generator.py file to have capability determining the 
position index with supported role types?
5. Future, an Orca longest or shortest braille usage related section for 
help documentation, with describe braille displays related usage of 
Orca. How can moving the screen for braille display (for example the 
flat review mode), how can activating a dialog widget, etc.
Perhaps this informations is only me new, because two days ago I using 
braille display for Orca, and not known all already implemented braille 
related features or keystrokes.
