Muhammad, if you want a keybinding to turn the monitor on and off open the keyboard shortcuts manager from 
the preferences menu navigate to and click the add button. Call it on-off and then type in the terminal 
command: monitor-toggle (assuming you have installed it - if not run: sudo apt-get install monitor-toggle) 
then add whatever keybinding you want to use e.g. ctrl+shift+alt+m - then you can turn the monitor on and off 
easily.

Monitor-toggle is a custom built script by Bill Cox which checks the current state of the monitor and then 
turns it on or off accordingly.
