[orca-list] Pronunciation Rules in Pidgin

Hey all,

I've just been trying to create custom pronunciation rules for Pidgin to 
set up things like lol reading as laughing out loud and :) reading as 
smiley etc.

but none of the rules that contain only punctuation symbols such as :) 
and :( seem to work.

Can you not create entries that contain only punctuation symbols?

I'm using Ubuntu Jaunty and Orca 2.26.1
